Child and Adolescent Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work as a Residential Child Care Worker at Pebbles Care Limited.

The role involves supporting children and young people with their daily needs, including school preparation, household chores, and activities. As a part-time employee, you will work approximately 35 hours per week on a rota pattern of one day on and two days off (48 hours).

The successful candidate will benefit from expert advice and training from our psychology, education, and learning and development specialists.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safeguarding children and young people from risk and harm is a top priority in this role.
  • You will provide support on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis, helping children with their daily needs and promoting their well-being.
  • As part of your duties, you may be required to drive company vehicles to transport children and young people to appointments, education, and activities.
Requirements:
  • To be successful in this role, you must have a full, valid UK driving licence for manual vehicles.
  • You should be highly responsible and accountable when it comes to safeguarding children and young people.
  • A keen interest in pursuing relevant child care qualifications and training is essential.
