This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with awarding body standards and best practices across all UK sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and managing ISO 9001 requirements across all UK training business sites.
  • Developing and maintaining annual audit schedules for all quality activities.
  • Conducting internal quality audits, preparing audit reports, and ensuring proper reporting and actioning of findings.
  • Leading external awarding body audits, ensuring all findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions are resolved promptly.
  • Collaborating with operational managers and leads to ensure all standards are followed and appropriate training is provided.
  • Managing feedback, complaints, and non-conformances effectively.
  • Chairing quarterly standardisation meetings at each site, ensuring all actions are appropriately allocated and completed.
  • Reviewing and updating the monthly legal register and leading bi-annual management reviews with awarding bodies.
  • Conducting monthly site walkarounds to identify and report potential issues.
  • Managing documentation control processes, change processes within the training business, and new course approvals and development.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in a quality management role.
  • Experience working with awarding or certification bodies.
  • Lead ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.
  • Strong communication skills across all mediums.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach with a hands-on attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to various training business sites.
