About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Centre Assistant to join our nursing care team at Rendcomb College.
As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support and assistance to our registered nurses in delivering outstanding patient care.
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring accurate medical records, and promoting health education throughout the school community.
In addition, you will assist with nurse drop-in clinics, provide basic first aid advice, and signpost pupils and staff to relevant services as needed.
This is a part-time permanent position requiring flexibility and a willingness to work variable hours, including some overnight and weekend duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the medical centre.
- Assist with nurse drop-in clinics and provide basic first aid advice.
- Signpost pupils and staff to relevant services.
- Accurately maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality.
- Promote health education throughout the school community.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children and young people.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and performance of duties outlined above.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Full driving licence with use of car (optional).
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
