City of Westminster, Greater London, United Kingdom ENGINEERINGUK Full time
About Us:
At Westminster City Council, our aim is to provide exceptional support for children with disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated Sessional Playworker to join our team of professionals who strive to make a positive impact on the lives of these young individuals. As part of our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in delivering activities that promote social interaction, skill development, and enjoyment.

The Role:
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, their families, or carers to plan and deliver a variety of engaging activities, including sports, games, arts and crafts, and more. You will also provide transportation to activities and offer personal care as needed. We emphasize nurturing independence in our children, so you will actively listen to their wishes and incorporate them into your work whenever possible.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people. If you have experience working with children who have learning disabilities, autism, or complex health needs, we encourage you to apply. While prior training in moving and handling or paediatric first aid is beneficial, it's not essential – we can provide the necessary training.
