Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £26,000 per annum, paid for 40 hours of work per week. You'll also receive a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, including enhanced pension and life insurance, access to our Digital GP platform, and emotional wellbeing support.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position lasting 12 months, based in South Manchester, M22 5XB. As a Health Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of health assessments to customers, promoting healthy lifestyles, and providing education on how to make positive changes.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Support the service delivery of Health Assessments to customers.
  2. Maintain accurate client records and be involved in the end-to-end process.
  3. Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa's current clinical policies.
  4. Carry out clinical testing, including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, and more.
  5. Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques.
  6. Post-assessment calls to support positive change and actions plans.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Educated to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology/sports science/nutrition.Customer-facing experience.Experience of performing measurement or assessment in a health and fitness or medical environment (desirable).Accuracy in information recording and working within clinical guidelines.Ability to build rapport with customers and tailor your approach to individuals.Empathy and ability to motivate customers to make positive health changes.
