About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Manchester. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be working in a community mental health setting, providing specialist occupational therapy services to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based occupational and employment assessments and produce reports to a high standard.
  • Identify barriers to goal achievement and plan and carry out evidence-based interventions.
  • Work alongside a range of agencies and develop skills in supporting junior OT staff and students.
  • Be part of a clear professional structure operating with the support of a Lead OT based within your locality.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of working as a qualified Occupational Therapist in a mental health setting.
  • Experience of using a variety of occupational vocational assessments.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC).
  • Field work educators qualification within 1 year of appointment.
