About the Role

We are recruiting for a Readymix Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. This role will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Readymix products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, sales teams, and operations staff on Readymix products and processes
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process enhancements and new product offerings
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including customer interactions, site visits, and technical support requests
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in Readymix technology and quality assurance
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs (A-C / 9-5) including English, Maths, and Science; NVQ Level 3 Technician or similar relevant certification is desirable
  • Working knowledge of Readymix products and processes, with experience in technical support and engineering preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with laboratory software
