LG ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS LTD is seeking an experienced Electrical Workshop Specialist to join their team. As an Electrical Workshop Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out daily workshop duties, building bespoke machinery and equipment, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out daily workshop duties, including assembly and testing of components
  • Goods in inspection and goods out packaging and crating/palletising
  • Producing assembly kits for production
  • Carrying out installations of machines into customers' premises, commissioning machines
  • Training operators on the machinery on customer premises when required
  • Breakdown assistance at customer premises and remote assistance to customers of components and equipment

Requirements:

  • Time served or other relevant qualification within Electrical Engineering
  • Experience working with heavy plant/industrial machinery
  • A background within the food manufacturing or packaging industry would be advantageous for this role
  • Proven experience reading and working from technical drawings to troubleshoot and repair faults
  • Electrically biased with sound mechanical knowledge
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and undertake further training where required
