Job Overview

Get-Recruited (UK) Ltd is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger/Finance Assistant to join our client's team.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier payments, monitoring the cashbook, and assisting with credit control and sales ledger duties.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Process and pay supplier invoices, reconcile bank statements and manage payment schedules
  • Verify stock purchases and reconcile purchase invoices and PO numbers with the Purchasing Department
  • Liaise with the Sales team to resolve customer queries and provide timely updates
  • Manage company expenses, including petty cash and credit card transactions
  • Create new supplier credit accounts to facilitate finance payments
  • Provide support with credit control and sales ledger duties as needed

Your Profile

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Purchase Ledger or similar role
  • AAT level 2 qualification or above
  • Experience with Purchase Ledger and Internet Banking systems
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Benefits and Remuneration

This is a 30 hour per week role, offering a competitive salary of £21,500 to £24,600 per annum, plus bonus scheme, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
