X4 Technology is seeking a highly skilled Principal Electronics Engineer to lead the development of innovative safety detection products.

This role is ideal for a competent hands-on engineer who can be the technical authority for all Electronics development, with a proven track record of taking products from concept to production.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 6 years of experience in full product lifecycle Electronics Design
  • Expertise in Analogue & Digital circuit design
  • Proficiency in PCB Design using Altium
  • Strong understanding of DFM
  • Bonus points for experience with Sensors
  • Previous experience working in a hybrid environment is highly advantageous

The company operates a hybrid setup, with 3 days onsite in North Cambridge, and offers a salary of £60,000 - £75,000, a generous bonus, 10% pension, and share options.
