This role offers a unique opportunity to lead technical innovation and collaborate across engineering, product management, and commercial teams. You will be responsible for guiding early product ideation, translating customer needs into innovative solutions, and contributing to the product development cycle in both technical and leadership capacities.

A proven track record in Application Engineering or Analog Mixed Signal IC Design within the Electronics/Semiconductor industry, experience in leading customer-facing engagements, and a broad technical knowledge of electronics and their applications are highly desirable but not essential.

This is a competitive role that comes with a $120,000 - $180,000 per annum salary package, as well as a supportive and collaborative work culture.

  • Work closely with IC Design, Test, and Assembly teams to ensure seamless customer success.
  • Present credible representations of Pragmatic Semiconductors' technology strengths and weaknesses internally and externally.
  • Provide comprehensive support to customers throughout the design phase, manufacture, and delivery process, offering feedback and inputs along the way (Support use of Pragmatic Semiconductors PDK and physical deliveries).
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Advantageous would be ECAD training, such as Cadence or Altium.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in Electronics/Semiconductor Engineering roles.
  • Demonstrable grasp of technical fundamentals in a wide range of electronics applications and industries.
  • Demonstrable experience in Electronic/Analog/Mixed Signal IC development projects with successful outcomes.
  • Previous experience in a technical lead role, actively leading projects to successful outcomes.
