Job Summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly driven and ambitious Specification Sales Professional to join our dynamic team. As a Hospitality Specification Sales Professional, you will be responsible for promoting our client's high-quality, market-leading ranges of Floor Covering solutions to Architects, Interior Designers, Design & Build / Fit-Out companies, Procurement companies, Main Contractors, Specialist Subcontractors, and End User clients within the Hospitality & Leisure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise awareness and generate sales of our client's Floor Covering solutions through proactive promotion and relationship-building with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand and grow the existing customer base.
  • Manage and develop accounts to ensure profitable sales and account growth.
  • Network and entertain clients and customers to build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Embrace the A&D Community in the region to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Grow sales within agreed target markets: Hospitality & Leisure.
  • Grow and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support each other and communicate effectively to ensure success.
  • Complete administration tasks on time to ensure accurate analysis reports can be prepared for use in measuring progress and forward planning.

Requirements

  • Located within a reasonable commute to Central London, with the ability to work remotely and from our client's showroom space in Clerkenwell.
  • An excellent working knowledge of the target sales channels and the inner workings of how to successfully manage a H&L construction project sales cycle from inception through to completion.
  • A sound network of relationships, connections, and understanding of the A&D, Fit Out / D&B / Main / Subcontractor companies that operate in the area, especially within the Hospitality & Leisure arena.
  • Experience of long-term project selling cycles.
  • Evidence of stability and success in similar previous roles.
  • A growth mindset and a business development-driven field sales professional.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A full driving license and computer literacy (to include Excel).
  • An entrepreneurial profile with a natural ability to network and build relationships at all levels.
