About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team at MET Recruitment UK Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple company accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Reconcile bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
  • Input sales and purchase invoices, maintaining accurate financial records
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and concerns

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a practice environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including Sage Accounts, Xero, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
