Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Leader to join our client, a leading player in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • The successful candidate will lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the division.
  • They will provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the division.
  • They will also be responsible for managing the division's capital expenditure and project accounting, overseeing cost accounting and inventory valuation processes, and ensuring compliance with financial controls and procedures.
  • The Senior Financial Leader will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function and work closely with the senior leadership team to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the division.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage the division's capital expenditure and project accounting.
  • Oversee cost accounting and inventory valuation processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the division.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Requirements

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and processes.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
