We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in York. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality neurological rehabilitation services to patients with complex, acquired neurological disorders.
About the Role:
- Provide clinical psychology input within the Active Care Group, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver intensive neurological rehabilitation.
- Engage in relevant research and advise other professionals as appropriate.
- Complete assessment and clinical formulation of patients' problem behaviours and treatment needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of difficulties.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes.
- Direct and support others to carry out evidence-based clinical psychology interventions.
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed.
