Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nanny to join our family as a full-time caregiver for our two children. As a nanny for our family, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare, education, and entertainment for our children, while also maintaining a clean and organized home environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare, including meal preparation, homework assistance, and engaging activities for our children.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our children, including managing their schedules, routines, and needs.
  • Assist with household chores, such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping, to ensure a smooth-running household.
  • Communicate effectively with our family members, including our children, to ensure everyone's needs are met.
  • Develop and implement educational activities and games to promote our children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Transport our children to and from school, activities, and appointments, as needed.
  • Manage our children's schedules, including school pickups, drop-offs, and extracurricular activities.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for our children, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with our children, built on trust, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a nanny or in a related childcare field.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications, such as a degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and other household staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • First Aid certification and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a clean and healthy environment for our children.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children of similar ages and needs.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including English.
  • Experience with household management and organization.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional overnight stays. The family has a friendly Labrador, so experience with animals is a plus.
