About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chief IT Financial Strategist to join our team at Computacenter. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional with expertise in IT financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Financial Management (40%)
  1. Collaborate with Product Owners and Finance to ensure accurate unit charge rates for IT services and products consumption, aligning with business timelines.
  2. Develop comprehensive reports on key Financial & Performance KPIs, benchmarked against industry standards.
  3. Process monthly internal cross-charges, addressing queries and disputes.
  4. Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising value and quality.
Technology Business Management Framework Ownership (30%)
  1. Lead the implementation of the TBM framework, including cost pools, IT cost allocation, and performance metrics evaluation.
  2. Maintain a roadmap of future capabilities, data sources, and enhancements to continuously evolve the function and increase business value.
Team Leadership (20%)
  1. Guide and mentor a team of TBM professionals, providing support as needed.
  2. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to encourage growth and development.
Partnership (10%)
  1. Closely cooperate with Finance Business Partners.
  2. Support IT budget owners to understand their current and future costs.
  3. Provide transparency into IT costs and consumption to Strategic Business Partners.
  4. Communicate IT costs and performance metrics through dashboards and reports to all stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance-related roles, including relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in IT financial management and Technology Business Management (TBM) certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Profit and Loss statements.
  • Experience in creating cost allocation models and internal charging.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts simply.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive and confident individual with a results-oriented approach.
  • Experience in developing KPIs and scorecards based on internal and industry benchmarks.
