Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Standard London. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Office Operations: Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, as well as processing payments and handling guest complaints.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, using excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest issues, using problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
