Job Description
A senior site management position has become available within our client's new build housing sector. We are looking for a skilled individual to oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in site management, specifically on timber-framed and traditional new build projects. A strong understanding of construction processes and regulations is essential, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Maintenance of high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices
- Foster a positive working environment and promote employee well-being
- Cultivate relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
- Manage risks and develop mitigation strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS) and certifications
- Demonstrated expertise in site management, preferably in the new build housing sector
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
