Mechanical Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Nuvia UK, a subsidiary of VINCI construction. This is a key role where you will be collaborating with various disciplined engineers and project managers to ensure the implementation and success of decommissioning activities on various systems.
Job DescriptionThis is a fast-paced role where you will have the opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge, highly complex projects surrounded by experts in the industry.
Responsibilities- Investigating engineering designs, including physical inspections.
- Establishing disassembly strategies, preparing plans, and conducting risk assessments.
- Management of technical documentation related to the disassembly of systems using management systems and SharePoint.
- Collaborating with Project Managers and Stakeholders to provide regular reports and progress towards the completion of assigned work packages.
- Supporting the project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget.
- HND, degree, or equivalent in engineering.
- Experience working in a technical role, ideally in an engineering, nuclear, or defence environment.
- Understanding of the engineering process, including system design and Electrical/Mechanical assemblies.
- Experience in project planning and estimating.
- CAD software experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting highly complex projects.
Estimated salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. 5% Employer Pension Contribution with Life Assurance Cover, Private Medical Scheme, Employee Share Scheme, and other benefits.
