About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker/Personal Assistant to provide support to a disabled gentleman in the Bournemouth area. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behavior.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the client with practical living skills, including daily routines and activities.
  • Administer medication as required.
  • Promote effective communication and build positive relationships with the client and their family.
  • Support the client with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist the client in accessing community resources and activities.
  • Prepare meals, snacks, and drinks as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker/Personal Assistant in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Must be self-employed and provide evidence of self-employment status, including Public Liability Insurance, Terms and Conditions, and Tax Reference Number.
  • Hold a full, valid driving license.
  • Be willing to undergo DBS checks and be legally able to work in the UK.
