About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Divisional Sales Director to lead our Financial Services team in East London. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies to achieve our financial objectives, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the financial services strategy, driving income growth and profitability within the division.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing Financial Services team, embedding the core values and principles of our network and company.
  • Prepare and deliver the Financial Services Division income and profit budget, monitoring, reporting, and forecasting operating and financial results.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of financial services regulation and core products, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate divisional key performance indicators, identifying trends and developing initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and business results.
  • Deliver cross-sales and referral activity, promoting all initiatives designed to improve results and drive business growth.
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of appropriate systems and controls to manage key risks and maintain the necessary standards.
  • Maintain the role of supervisor as defined by our network's Training and Competence scheme.
  • Communicate regularly with the Head of Sales Quality to ensure all necessary messages and standards are up-to-date and cascaded correctly.
  • Maintain open dialogue with the Financial Services Director and other senior leaders.
  • Effectively handle customer complaints, following the company's complaints procedure and managing business exposure.
  • Create a universal knowledge and understanding of HR processes and best practices, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
  • Create and drive a culture of coaching, leading to a high-performance culture.
  • Work collaboratively across business streams, maximizing profitable working relationships.
  • Ensure best practices and successes are shared within the Financial Services Chapter.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as full CeMAP or CII equivalent, are crucial.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of Mortgage and Protection Advising is essential.
  • Must live within the geographical area of the designated division.

  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).
  • We'll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of a passport, birth certificate, or other relevant documentation.
