Key qualifications for a Regional Sales Manager:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor in the financial services sector, with a proven track record of leading and inspiring a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define and achieve the organization's business goals through strategic oversight, providing clear direction and purpose.
  • Demonstrate the ambition to advance the business, fostering and maintaining long-term performance while supporting all other operational streams within a unified team framework.
  • Ability to mentor and develop advisors and managers to maximize their productivity, service quality, and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-driven, confident, and adaptable. Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to respond swiftly and effectively to market dynamics, regulatory shifts, and business objectives.

Your duties will include:

  • Assist the Financial Services Director in executing the financial services strategy that promotes revenue, ensures profitable growth, and fosters continuous improvement within the division.
  • Recruit, lead, and cultivate a highly effective Financial Services team while instilling the core values and principles of the organization.
  • Develop and manage the Financial Services Division's income and profit budget; monitor, report, and forecast operational and financial outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Financial Services regulations and core products that the organization is authorized to offer.
  • Assess and analyze key performance indicators for the division, including customer satisfaction, and identify trends to implement necessary improvements.
  • Drive the achievement of cross-sales and referral activities while promoting initiatives aimed at enhancing results.
  • Ensure compliance with all systems and controls mandated by our chosen Network to effectively manage key risks and uphold necessary standards.
  • Uphold the supervisory role as defined by our Network's Training and Competence framework.
  • Regularly communicate with the Head of Sales Quality to ensure that all essential messages and standards are current and effectively disseminated among Financial Services personnel.
  • Maintain open communication with the Financial Services Director.
  • Address customer complaints in accordance with the Company complaints procedure, managing business risk effectively.
  • Foster a universal understanding and commitment to HR processes and best practices, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Cultivate a coaching culture that promotes high performance and excellence.
  • Collaborate across business streams to maximize profitable relationships.
  • Share best practices and successes within the Financial Services Chapter.

Additional requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as full CeMAP or CII equivalent, are essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Mortgage and Protection Advising is required.
  • Candidates must reside within the designated division's geographical area.
