Adoption Social Worker

Ladgov is seeking a highly skilled Adoption Social Worker to join our team. This role is based in Barnwell, North Northamptonshire, United Kingdom, and requires the incumbent to work with RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth, United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for observing and participating in squadron activities to identify psychosocial stressors and barriers to optimal human performance.
Duties:
- Develop and implement initiatives to mitigate psychosocial stressors and risks and optimize airmen performance.
- Conduct psych diagnostic assessments and provide evidence-based psychotherapy.
- Integrate Operation Support (IOS) programs, including Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Guardian Angel – Elite Performance Initiative Center (EPIC), and others.
- Work with military organizations and culture to understand unique stressors on workers in an operational military workplace.
- Provide guidance and consultation services to medical professionals and military leaders, and facilitate referrals to military or community-based human service agencies and resources.
Requirements:
- Mastery of social work practices, principles, theories, and administrative requirements.
- Professional knowledge of evidence-based treatments for psychiatric disorders.
- Knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
- Current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to travel and maintain active clinical privileges at the host Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
