Experienced Social Worker for Complex Adoption Cases

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children's Adoption Team at Shropshire Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing prospective adopters, finding and matching children with adoptive families, and providing ongoing support throughout the adoption process.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting thorough assessments of prospective adopters to determine their suitability for adopting a child.
- Maintaining relationships with adoptive families and providing support and guidance throughout the adoption journey.
- Liaising with other professionals, including local authorities and healthcare providers.
- A generous annual salary of £38,000-£43,000.

- DipSW or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the HCPC.
- Current DBS clearance.
