Behaviour Intervention Support Specialist

About the Role
A Behaviour Intervention Support Specialist is required to work with young learners who portray nonconforming behaviour that needs specialist adult intervention. The successful candidate will implement specific strategies, provide emotional support and promote positive habits that will improve their overall well-being and social interactions with their peers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with experienced SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists to develop and implement effective behaviour interventions.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students with challenging behaviour.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive habits and improve student outcomes.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology, Criminology or related field.
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £85-£90 per day. As a Behaviour Intervention Support Specialist, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
