About the Role:

">">This position is a fantastic opportunity to work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a vibrant mainstream primary school in Salisbury. As a dedicated individual, you will provide full-time support to a pupil with special educational needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Global Delay, and Behavioural Challenges.">

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to a pupil in Key Stage 1 and/or 2, assisting the class teacher in delivering learning plans and ensuring the pupil's inclusion in classroom activities.
  • Offer emotional and behavioural support to help manage and develop positive behaviours, supporting the pupil's social and emotional development.
  • Assist the class teacher in adapting to the individual needs of the child and working effectively as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN (ASC, ADHD, Global Delay, and Behaviour Challenges) within a primary school setting.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
