Supporting Student Behaviour Mentor

In this role, you will work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Your primary focus will be to assist students in managing their behaviour, enabling them to fully engage in learning and reach their potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to children with behavioural difficulties, helping them manage emotions and interactions
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement tailored behaviour management strategies for individual students
- Monitoring and recording student progress, feeding back to teachers, parents, and relevant professionals
About You:
- Experience working with children, especially those with behavioural or emotional challenges (school experience preferred)
- A good understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies
- A passion for helping children overcome barriers and achieve their potential
- A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
