Locum Opportunity in Ophthalmology


We are looking for experienced Consultants in Ophthalmology to fill a temporary position at a trust in the West Midlands.


The successful candidate will be required to work on a county-wide service, covering multiple sites, and will be responsible for providing clinical sessions in various specialties, including vitreoretinal, retinal, and uveitis conditions.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide outpatient emergency services and face-to-face clinics for vitreoretinal, retinal, and uveitis conditions.
  • Perform cataract surgery and intravitreal injections.
  • Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:



  • Consultant with expertise in Ophthalmology, particularly in vitreoretinal, retinal, and uveitis conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
