Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team at Quest Employment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to develop their sales skills and experience in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and establishing connections with key decision-makers at target companies, focusing on those with product ownership, in-house design, and manufacturing capabilities.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to £25k per annum, as well as benefits including 24 days annual leave + Bank holidays, no weekend working, free parking on site, bonus structure, progression and development opportunities, and a collaborative working environment.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with LinkedIn, Lusha, and CRM tools, strong phone communication skills with a focus on initiating contact and building relationships, and industry knowledge with the electronics or technical sales sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and Research Prospects: Utilise LinkedIn, industry-specific platforms, exhibit lists, and other resources to research and identify potential client companies within our target sectors.
* Data Gathering & Management: Capture and manage information on prospective clients, including contact details, decision-making roles, and power supply requirements.
* Qualify Prospects: Assess potential clients based on criteria such as their needs, budget, and purchasing timeline, ensuring accurate data gathering & management.
* Build and Maintain Relationships: Nurture qualified prospects by sharing relevant content, following up consistently, and fostering a connection until they develop into an enquiry.
* Collaborate on Strategy: Work with sales and marketing to refine strategies that enhance outreach efforts and increase engagement with new prospects.
* Report Progress: Provide regular updates on outreach activities, including key metrics, pipeline progress, and insights for strategy adjustments.
