Financial Transaction Coordinator

Kettering is a hub for food manufacturing, and Oasis Business Personnel Ltd seeks an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, this role offers significant variety and growth opportunities.
The successful candidate will manage all financial transactions, including processing invoices, handling payment runs, and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include auditing financial documents, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments while ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchase ledger function efficiently, ensuring accurate recording and processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Assist in reviewing open and processed purchase orders for accuracy.
- Match invoices to GRNs, verifying correct price, quantity, and GL coding.
- Verify supplier invoices, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure timely approval and payment processing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving queries, discrepancies, or payment issues promptly and professionally.
- Process employee expenses and credit card statements, maintaining accurate records of business expenditures.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in purchase ledger management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
