Job Title: Building and Maintenance Contracts Manager

Invictus Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building and Maintenance Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support in the management and development of our contracts, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure opportunities for strategic contract development are exploited, delivering increased turnover and profitability, and adding additional services and projects.
  • Communicate and implement business policies and processes within the contract, reviewing and implementing changes for efficiency.
  • Ensure healthy and safe working conditions, implementing the company's health and safety policy and process across both company and subcontractor activities.
  • Deliver cost reduction through service excellence.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop the business, effective teamworking, and support to colleagues.
  • Support the Technical Service Manager in developing contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction, and contract growth.
  • Ensure statutory, policy, and contractual commitments are met through appropriate control systems.
  • Maintain customer focus in operational activities and effective relationships with key client contacts.
  • Promote and maintain the company's core values.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, advice, coaching, and direct support to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment, and recognition/reward.
  • Deliver effective business communication through advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and other publications.
  • Support the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings, hosting visits, and support to mobilisation on new contracts.
  • Provide a learning environment and appropriate training and development planning, supporting teams to ensure basic training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and can reach their full future potential.
Specific Role Requirements:
  • Support in underperforming areas or where required.
  • Process reviews and improvements (ops and finance).
  • Pre-audit reviews support to minimise Stat and Non-Stat NC's during QHSE or AGM audits.
  • Support with audit actions completions, guiding Technical Service Managers for better understanding and requirements to satisfy auditor for action closures.
  • Ownership of the portfolio reporting to the senior team, customer support with open tasks, compliance, WIP, and billing.
  • Management of the portfolio (reactive and remedials), WIP, and billing.
  • Understand and support with the open book billing process via 3rd party, support with query resolutions before billing deadline.
  • Driving positive behaviours.
  • Client first – build relationship with the client and support when required.
  • Customer Feedback – support with complaints resolutions.
  • Learning from Experience – support QHSE to deliver to all operatives on the contract.
  • Support Account Manager to ensure that key deliverables, SLA's, KPI's, and client expectations are met/exceeded.
