We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Youth Worker to join our team at Colchester United Community Foundation. As a Community Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mentoring sessions, creating engaging content, and supporting various health and inclusion programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality mentoring resources and sessions for students.
  • Build strong relationships with students, schools, and community organizations.
  • Support the management of relationships with schools, community organizations, and external partners.
  • Contribute to securing resources and funding opportunities for program development.
Requirements:
  • Youth Mental Health First Aider qualification or willingness to complete.
  • Qualification in mentoring or a similar field.
  • Experience in youth work, mentoring, or a similar role in education or community settings.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Willingness to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check.
