About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide spiritual, pastoral, and religious care in a hospital environment. As a qualified practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and responding to the needs of individuals, carers, and staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred Spiritual, Pastoral and Religious Care (SPaRC) healthcare chaplaincy addressing individual and collective needs of the hospital community.
  • Respond to people in spiritual distress using professional and pastoral knowledge, skills, and practice.
  • Provide or enable religious rites and ceremonies as requested or required, including prayer, meditation, baptism, naming, and other rites at times of complex surgery, end-of-life, or baby loss.
