SEND Teaching Assistant Position

Ashford Oaks is a great school with a fantastic team spirit and we are looking for a skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join us. For this role, you must have a GCSE grade C (4) or equivalent in both Maths and English and recent experience in a school setting.
The children of Ashford Oaks have expressed their needs:
- 'We would like a caring person who understands our needs. They should be friendly and fun, firm but fair. They must know their subjects so they can help us learn.'
- 'I would like our new TA to be nice and easy to talk to so that they can listen and help you when you have a problem.'
- 'A good TA needs to inspire us.'
- 'They should always have a smile to brighten people's mood.'
Our children know what they want and your contribution will make a real difference to their lives. Many of our children come from a challenging area, and our ethos is simple - inspire our children so that they can 'dare to dream'.
This role is a permanent contract with 31.25 hours per week, term time (39 weeks per year), Monday to Friday. Hours of work are 08.40am to 15.25pm. Part time may be considered for the right candidate.
Only applications submitted through https://www.kent-teach.com/ will be considered. Previous applicants need not apply.
