About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Health Nurse to join our team at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our 0-19 Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality health and care services to children and their families.

As a Child Health Nurse, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide accessible, person-centered packages of care in response to individual and local need. You will be responsible for supporting the full delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, including public health and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality health and care services to children and their families
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide accessible, person-centered packages of care
  • Support the full delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, including public health and safeguarding
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local statutory, health, and voluntary agencies
  • Contribute to the development of the 0-19 Service and the Trust as a whole
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse (Adult/Child/Mental Health)
  • Evidence of recent professional development
  • Modules at level 6 - Public Health Related
  • Solihull Approach trained
  • Motivational Interviewing trained
  • Immunisation Training
