We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.
About the Role:- Support the children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, young people, and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the management team and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the home.
- Participate in weekend and evening activities to support the children and young people in their interests.
- Protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare.
- A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
- At least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar care setting.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
