Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Carmarthen. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide high-quality support to vulnerable children and young people, promoting their independence, wellbeing, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests
  • Promote independence and wellbeing through person-centred care planning
  • Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children
  • Participate in weekend and evening activities to support children's interests
  • Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare

Requirements:

  • Desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • At least 6 months' experience working with children or in a similar care setting
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
