HR Administrator Role

At Get Staffed Online Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations across our client's secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for HR to contribute to the success of our schools and make a real difference in their educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies and coordinating interviews.
  • Onboarding and Induction: Coordinate the induction process for new staff members, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support.
  • Sickness and Absence: Manage staff absences, including monitoring attendance and implementing absence procedures.
  • Appraisal and Staff Development: Coordinate staff appraisals and support staff development initiatives.
  • Payroll: Process payroll and ensure accurate payment of staff salaries.
  • Database and Staff Files: Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records, including personnel files and payroll information.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide advice and guidance to staff on HR-related matters.
  • Leaver Administration: Coordinate the departure process for staff members, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum GSCE English and Mathematics Grade C or equivalent.
  • Qualifications: Professional qualification relevant to the post, such as CIPD Level 3 (desirable).
  • Experience: Previous experience of working in education within a Human Resources function.
  • Skills: Advanced keyboard skills, software expertise, Word, and Excel.
  • Database Experience: Experience of working with a HR database, such as People HR, ITrent, or Bespoke Systems.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Initiative: Ability to use own initiative and work alone when necessary.
