Residential Care Team Lead for Young People

Salary: £48,000-£62,000 per annum.
We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Team Lead to manage our Solo Occupancy Children's Residential Care Home. In this role, you will be responsible for leading your team, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve high standards of care and service delivery.
About the Job
The Residential Care Team Lead will play a crucial role in the success of our work and the outcomes we achieve. You will manage 1 Solo Occupancy Children's Residential Care Home, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and striving for excellence in care and service delivery.
Main Responsibilities
Your key duties will include:
- Leading and managing the home in a consistent and reliable manner
- Achieving 'Good' rating under Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted Regulatory framework with an aspirational focus on achieving 'Outstanding'
- Managing services, including staff supervision, care and placement planning, safeguarding, communications, report writing, and monitoring overall quality and compliance of service
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Developing and implementing individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child
- Managing safeguarding children, risk, and service governance
- Ensuring children have access to necessary services meeting their individual needs
- Recruiting, supporting, and developing staff to deliver high-quality care and services
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid driving licence (required)
- L5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (recommended)
- Level 4 in Children and Young People's Practitioner (recommended)
