We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Merton. As a Senior Practitioner in Disability Support Services, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to disabled children and their families.
About the Position:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the Social Care sector. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a well-established team, supporting vulnerable children and families across Enfield. The position is initially for 3-6 months, with possibilities for extension based on performance and internal factors.
Duties:
- Providing individualised support to disabled children and their families
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services
- Conducting thorough assessments and risk evaluations
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with service users, families, and external agencies
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in disability support and best practices
Essential Qualifications:
- SWE Registration
- Post-qualifying experience in the UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB certification (we can facilitate this process)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
