The role involves working one on one with our client, providing administrative support and assistance and driving, thus facilitating their own professional role.
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person, to be an administrative support worker to our client who is visually impaired.
The organisation our client works for is based is in the Merton borough.
We require someone with experience of supporting a disabled person in the workplace as a financial and facilities officer.
About the Role:
As an Administrative Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking and typing up comprehensive notes.
Providing any visual assistance required during meetings. E.g, reading handwritten files and paper correspondence, making concise and accurate notes and transferring these into an accessible word format
- Inputting information into departmental software system (some training provided)
- Proof-reading work
- General ad hoc administrative/ PA duties
About You:
- You will be able to demonstrate:
- A high level of written/verbal communication and professionalism
- Excellent computer skills
- Have strong typing skills and the ability to take act as a scribe for our client.
- Have a valid DBS and be able to provide proof (required, preferably on the updating register
- Demonstrate a high level of trust, integrity with a good understanding of confidentiality
- Being compassionate and caring
- Punctual, organised and reliable
- Excellent observational skills, with an eye for detail
- Adaptable to change
Hours and Benefits:
Rate of Pay: £14.35
Working hours are up to 13 hours weekly to be worked flexibly between Monday to Friday
Pension contributions are supported.
