Sage Intact Inventory Analyst

**Telco Infrastructure Partnership**
Global Accounting Network has formed a strategic partnership with a leading telco business in London, backed by private equity investors. This collaborative effort seeks to transform the UK's telco landscape through cutting-edge infrastructure development.
We require a skilled Inventory Finance Analyst to fill a temporary role, supporting our client's finance and warehousing teams in managing inventory reporting, reconciliations, and system integration. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with Sage Intact, particularly from an inventory module perspective.
Responsibilities:)
- Utilize advanced Excel techniques for large-scale data manipulation, incorporating V-lookups and Pivots.
- Maintain expertise in using Sage Intact, ensuring seamless reconciliations of inventory balances between warehouse systems and timely updates in Sage Intacct.
- Delve into discrepancies or variances in inventory data, implementing corrective actions to maintain data accuracy.
- Oversee inventory transfers between warehouse locations, synchronize these movements in Sage Intacct, and collaborate closely with the finance team to enhance inventory cost tracking efficiency.
- Analyze and propose process enhancements for data flow between the warehouse and accounting system.
- Provide critical support during month-end and year-end financial close processes, focusing on inventory balances and reporting.
- Establish open communication channels with the finance team to guarantee accurate journal postings and reconciliation of inventory-related accounts.
Essential Qualifications:
- Significant experience in a comparable inventory-based position.
- In-depth understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Compensation Package:
- A highly competitive estimated annual salary of £65,000 - £75,000.
