We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fine dining restaurant, Mirabelle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Food and Beverage Service Manager, you will be responsible for running shifts in our fine dining restaurant, ensuring that high standards are consistently maintained and procedures are followed.
- You will motivate and lead a dedicated team to achieve sales targets and maintain a 2 AA Rosette standard.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, staff engagement, and overall restaurant performance.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a high level of food quality.
- Monitor and control costs, inventory, and labor to optimize restaurant profitability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a two rosette restaurant or higher.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
