Renal Care Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Day Case Team, Marlowe Ward. As a Renal Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing renal vascular access procedures, operations, and related complications.
This is a 30-hour per week position, Monday to Friday, with a flexible working pattern as per rota. You will report to the Band 7 Day case and Haemodialysis Manager and work closely with the Day-Case, Acute Haemodialysis, and Ward teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Following the day case diary and ensuring patient medical notes are available in advance for surgical procedures.
- Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the team and environment to assist in delivering high-quality comprehensive care.
- Answering telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner, recording and relaying messages as appropriate.
- Assisting the day case team in admitting patients onto the computer system and completing the process on time.
- Adhering to operational/Trust policies and procedures in relation to Health and Safety and Fire.

Skills- Computer skills.
- Knowledge of Trust computer system.
- GCSE A-C English or equivalent.
- Computer literate including Word and Excel or equivalent experience.
