We are seeking a skilled Fleet Administration Assistant to join our team at Dawsongroup. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct regular checks on the physical appearance of our fire fleet and identify cleaning, repair, and maintenance requirements.
  • Inspection Reporting: Ensure that accurate and detailed "check out" and "check in" inspections are conducted on all vehicles leaving for, or returning from hire.
  • Customer Communication: Notify customers immediately once damage has been identified and obtain re-charge authorisation from customers when required.
  • Administrative Support: Provide a timely response to customer and internal queries, effectively communicating customer correspondence and queries to other departments as appropriate.
  • Front Desk Reception: Deal with telephone queries received within the fleet department and respond efficiently.
  • General Administration: Perform other general administrative tasks as required.

  • Be a confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Have strong administrative skills.
  • Be PC literate with the ability to adapt to a wide variety of tasks.
  • Be able to work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK.
