About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to technical delivery teams to deliver a range of projects to completion, within cost budget and to programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and be part of technical delivery teams to deliver projects to completion.
  • Effectively manage own time and resources.
  • Deliver technically compliant design deliverables in accordance with input requirements.
  • Produce designs and calculations to demonstrate acceptable performance or identify design issues.
  • Produce key technical documentation, including calculations and design reports.
  • Build internal relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in Environment, Safety, Health, Security and Quality.
Requirements
  • Strong academic background with a relevant Honours degree or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer Status (e.g., MICE, MIStructE or MIMechE).
  • Experience in the use of computer modelling packages, such as finite element analysis (e.g. Abaqus and Ansys).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility given.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with working to design codes, industry standards, and performance-based design approaches.
  • Site experience.
  • Applied experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
