Business Relationship Development Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Relationship Development Manager to support our existing clients with their banking needs, while driving franchise growth through the origination of new business opportunities.
You will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of mid-corporate clients in the Leeds area, with an annual turnover between £25m-£100m. Your primary objective will be to grow and develop your client relationships, ensuring they receive excellent service and benefiting from our bank's proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and develop high-value relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand our services and deepen their engagement with Lloyds Banking Group.
- Originate new business opportunities through proactive relationship building and networking within the local market and professional community.
- Provide expert guidance on credit, compliance, and operational risk management to ensure seamless delivery of our services to clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking, with a strong track record of business origination and relationship development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-quality relationships with senior decision-makers, leveraging local connections and networks to drive business growth.
- Excellent understanding of commercial banking products and services, with the ability to articulate the benefits of our proposition to clients.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial data and provide informed recommendations.
