About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Pharmacy Services team as a Senior Pharmacy Services Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing essential support to our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a range of pharmacy support duties, including stock control, labelling, assembly, preparation, dispensing, and receipt and distribution of pharmaceuticals within Aseptic services.
  • Work across site, at each of our Aseptic Units (LGI and SJUH), interacting with various professions and performing a variety of tasks while working to strict deadlines.
  • Prepare CIVAs, Chemotherapy, and Parenteral Nutrition using aseptic technique inside an isolator, while working in a clean room environment.
  • Assist in the induction and training of new members of staff once fully competent in the role.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a pharmacy.
  • Good attention to detail, ability to work accurately under pressure, and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and manage time effectively.
