Job Overview

This Advanced Nurse position at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance misuse.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, service colleagues, and other agencies to promote recovery from drugs/alcohol misuse. With a focus on providing non-medical prescribing services, this role requires a qualified nurse with experience working within substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments for substance misusing clients.
  • Conduct non-medical prescribing duties following accredited training.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and service colleagues to promote recovery.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including Season Ticket Loans, NHS discounts, and excellent training facilities.

Person Specification

  • Qualified as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (INMP) within substance misuse.
  • Experience working within substance misuse.
